Priorities

Education

Public education is one of the greatest investments we can make in our future. Every child deserves a quality education that prepares them for real life. I will make public education a priority in Missouri.

Healthcare

When someone loses healthcare coverage or can’t access the care they need, it impacts on their job stability, their children, and their overall well-being.  I'm here to support access to healthcare.

Cost of Living

Families are feeling the pressure of rising costs. The cost of living continues to climb, stretching budgets thinner and thinner. I'm committed to making life more affordable for Missouri families.

Why I'm running

I’m running for Missouri State Senate in District 34 because I know firsthand what many families in our community are going through. I have experienced what it’s like when your children are on free and reduced lunch and there’s a negative balance on the account. I’ve faced the reality of taking a job that pays less because the hours allow you to be there for your kids—and working two jobs just to make ends meet. Those experiences don’t leave you; they shape how you see policy, leadership, and responsibility.

It feels like Jefferson City has forgotten that the decisions they make every day affect everyday Missourians. The policies that passed at the state level don’t stay in the Capitol—they show up in our classrooms, in our homes, and at kitchen tables across our district.

We love our neighborhoods. We love our schools. And part of loving our community is making sure our public schools remain strong and that every child receives a quality education that prepares them for real life. Public education is one of the greatest investments we can make in our future.

At the same time, families are feeling the pressure of rising costs. The cost of living continues to climb, stretching budgets thinner and thinner.

Through my work in education and healthcare, I’ve seen how these pressures affect families every day. When someone loses healthcare coverage or can’t access the care they need, it impacts their job stability, their children, and their overall well-being. Those challenges ripple throughout our communities.

My experience as an educator, healthcare professional, school board leader, and parent has taught me that strong communities require practical, accountable leadership. We need leaders who understand that state decisions have real, local consequences—leaders who will listen, work across differences, and focus on solutions that strengthen families.
